Stamba replaces the dog-eared paper loyalty card with a single, beautifully interactive wallet. Every coffee, every visit, every purchase earns a digital stamp — and once the card is full, the reward redeems in seconds.
Behind the simple "buy 10, get one free" idea sits a serious engine — behavioural analytics, location-aware offers and a merchant cockpit that lets shop owners design their own programs without writing a line of code.
For users, it's a wallet of cards from the brands they already love. For merchants, it's a complete CRM that learns who's coming back, who's drifting, and what offer will bring them in tomorrow.
Stamps in pockets, points on receipts, offers in DMs — loyalty was scattered. Stamba needed one wallet to hold it all.
One wallet, many merchants
Each café and shop ran its own paper card. Users carried five, lost three. We had to design a single home for hundreds of programs without flattening anyone's brand.
Trust the stamp, not the staff
Digital stamps are only valuable when they can't be cheated. We needed a redemption flow that worked offline, scaled across thousands of locations, and felt as quick as a paper punch.
Bilingual from day one
Arabic-first audience, English-second. Every screen had to flip RTL ↔ LTR without breaking; every font pair had to feel like the same brand in both scripts.
Our process
Six phases, one shared roadmap, weekly demos to the founder. We treated Stamba like a product, not a project — every sprint shipped something the team could tap, drag, or share.
Discovery & Research
Two weeks of user interviews with café owners, cashiers and stamp-card carriers in Riyadh and Jeddah. Mapped 17 competitor flows. Built a friction list: what makes someone abandon a loyalty card in the first 7 days.
Strategy & Architecture
Defined the wallet metaphor, the stamp grammar (8/10, 12/12, free reward), and the merchant data model. Decided early: every reward must redeem in under 4 seconds, online or offline.
UX Design & Prototype
Three rounds of wireframes, two rounds of clickable prototype testing with 22 users. Stripped the wallet from 7 tabs to 4. Killed the "search bar" — replaced with a horizontal stack of nearby merchants.
Visual & Brand System
Designed the Stamba S-mark, the red palette, and a card grammar that lets every merchant theme their stamp without breaking the wallet's rhythm. Built a 220-component library in Figma, RTL-ready.
Engineering & Build
Native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) shipped from a shared product spec. Node + Postgres for the wallet API; a React admin console for merchants. QR-based redemption with offline cache and signed receipts.
Launch & Iterate
Soft-launched with 8 merchants. Watched cohort metrics for 3 weeks, fixed the onboarding hand-off, then opened the gates. Now shipping bi-weekly with a backlog driven by merchant feedback.

Each card is a themed surface — burger joint, café, salon — designed so the merchant's identity reads instantly, while the stamp grammar stays universal. Pull-to-redeem, hold-to-validate, instant haptic confirmation.

An offer feed timed to when someone is most likely to walk in.
We trained a light-weight model on visit cadence and basket size to schedule the right notification at the right hour. Users opted in once — the inbox became a destination, not a nag.

A redemption flow that feels as quick as a paper punch.
Tap the reward, present the screen, cashier scans. A signed receipt is exchanged in under 1.4 seconds, online or offline. No staff training required — the success state is impossible to fake.

A nearby-stores layer that earns the home screen.
Cards, ratings, walking distance, and the next reward you're closest to — composed in a single scannable list. Adding a new merchant takes two taps, and stamps you've never collected appear with an irresistible "+".
A cockpit that turns visits into revenue.
Where the wallet ends, the console begins. A web dashboard built for owner-operators — so a café manager can read a cohort, design a campaign, and push it to thousands of phones without leaving the browser tab.
